Was listening to NPR last night and heard a piece by a guy who wrote a book titled "1000 recordings to hear before you die". Was thinking about buying it and then posting something new after listening to each recording. Only thing is that it seems there's a lot of classical/opera in there. while I respect the genre, it's not really my favorite to listen to. And also country. I'd rather scrub a bathroom floor that will never get clean than listen to country music (sorry for the fans who are reading this). But hey, it could turn into a neat little experiment.
